The illustrated MODIFIED Benchmade Knife is the Benchmade Griptilian Knife, designed by Mel Pardue. This MODIFIED Griptilian knife features an ACID STONEWASHED 3.45″ modified sheepfoot blade made of S30V stainless steel, .115″ thick, with a Rockwell hardness of 58-61. The ACID STONEWASHED blade of this Benchmade knife has a hollow grind, a notched thumb rest for secure grip, and a blade hole for ambidextrous one hand opening. The black Noryl GTX and Valox handle, 4.62″ closed, has double stainless steel liners, ambidextrous AXIS lock and a lanyard hole. A side to side reversible steel pocket clip is mounted at the butt end of this Benchmade knife. The Benchmade Griptilian Knife with modified sheepfoot blade has an overall open length of 8.07″, and weighs 3.25 ounces. Made in the USA.
